REVELSTOKE, BC (March 6, 2026) — The competition window for YETI Natural Selection Revelstoke officially opens Monday, March 9, kicking off a full week of exclusive Natural Selection Tour programming on Red Bull TV. Starting with NST Super Sessions and Research & Development (RND), the week builds toward two LIVE broadcast days and nonstop snowboarding action from Revelstoke.
Monday, March 9 | 7:30 PM PT
Broadcast from the studio and Opening Ceremony in Revelstoke. The March 9 Opening Ceremony opens the Revelstoke competition window. Streaming live from the Center for the Arts in Revelstoke and the studio in Santa Monica, the evening premiere of Super Sessions and RND sets the stage and locks in the final spots of the 24-rider Revelstoke field before competition begins.
Fans in Revelstoke experience it live in person, while viewers worldwide tune in simultaneously on Red Bull TV. With five riders joining the YETI Natural Selection Revelstoke drop list from Super Sessions and two from RND.

NST Super Session — Powder Mountain, Utah
Venue: “Don’t Mention It” (DMI)
Powder Mountain’s expansive DMI zone beneath James Peak delivers cliff bands, spines, wind lips, and technical chutes across more than 1,000 acres of raw terrain. The session-based format rewards creativity, terrain interpretation, and style, with riders stacking film-part caliber lines under competitive pressure.

With one of the deepest snowpacks on earth, Myōkō’s rolling volcanic terrain creates a fast, fluid canvas for progressive freestyle expression. Natural transitions, pillow zones, and technical features challenge riders to blend flow with precision.

Research & Development (RND) — Whitewater Resort, BC
Founded by Robin Van Gyn, 2021 Natural Selection Champion and big-mountain innovator, RND is an invite-only backcountry freestyle contest designed to accelerate progression and build a direct pathway into elite freeride competition.
Fourteen riders compete across a jam-style contest day in Whitewater’s legendary Trash Chutes — stacked with pillows, chutes, and hand-built features — plus dedicated filming days throughout the resort and sidecountry. Riders receive a combined score from their best judged run and strongest filmed trick, competing for a $20,000 prize purse and two coveted NST vests.

Two Competition Days Chosen by Mother Nature

With the field taking shape on March 9, attention shifts to Revelstoke’s iconic natural terrain beyond resort boundaries. As always at NST, Mother Nature takes the wheel picking the two days in the March 10–15 window for the competition to run.

With two riders advancing from RND, five spots remain in the 24-rider lineup. Those final positions will be locked following the NST Super Session and RND premieres within the March 9 Opening Ceremony broadcast.
On the selected competition days, the action streams LIVE at 1:00 PM PT exclusively on Red Bull TV as riders battle through elimination rounds toward the crowning of the 2026 men’s and women’s champions.
Competition days will be announced on @naturalselectionsnow in real time as weather and snow conditions align.
