Two early-season destinations, two different experiences, one goal: progression.
Winter is getting closer, and the Black Yeti is ready to get back on snow. Before the 2026/27 contest season kicks into full gear, the World Rookie Tour offers young riders two opportunities to train, progress and reconnect with the international rookie community.
First stop: Lapland, with a three-day freeski camp in Levi from October 29th to 31st. Then it’s time for Hintertux, where snowboarders and freeskiers will meet from November 11th to 15th for five days of riding, coaching, lifestyle activities and a final competition session.
From October 29th to 31st, 2026, Levi Ski Resort in Finland will welcome the World Rookie Camp Lapland, a three-day experience entirely dedicated to freeski.Riders will train on Levi’s Front Slope with experienced coaches Aron Hayes, Emil Abdulin and Severi Silvander, combining slopestyle sessions with off-snow activities and plenty of time to share the unique Lapland vibe with the crew.
The Early Bird package is €349 until October 6th, while the regular package is €399 until October 22nd. Both include coaching, camp activities, three lunches and three dinners. Accommodation and lift passes are not included, but participants can receive 10% off at Levi Suites using the code PROWRT.

From November 11th to 15th, 2026, the action moves to the Hintertuxer Glacier in Tirol, Austria, for the third edition of the World Rookie Camp Hintertux, presented by Ästhetiker, World Snowboard Federation and World Rookie Tour.
Open to snowboarders and freeskiers of all ages, the camp offers training and coaching in a perfectly prepared park and pipe. Riders travelling without their own coach can join the legendary Ästhetiker crew, while coaches and parents are also welcome.
Alongside slopestyle training, photo and video sessions, the program includes lifestyle activities and workshops. Filmers and photographers will capture the action throughout the camp.
The Sunday session will award World Rookie Rank points for freeski and snowboard, while the Best Girl and Best Boy will receive free entry, accommodation and lift tickets for the respective World Rookie Finals 2027. The top three boys and top three girls will also qualify for Rock a Rail Innsbruck.
The five-day package costs €830 per athlete, coach or parent and includes four nights at the Adler Inn 4 Superior*, breakfast and dinner, four-day lift pass, activities and workshops, plus photos and footage for the riders.
