Olympic 2026 Womens Halfpipe

Women’s Olympic 2026 Women’s Snowboard Halfpipe Qualification

The two-time reigning snowboard halfpipe Olympic champion, Chloe Kim, qualified with an impressive score of 90.25.

Chloe Kim did what Chloe Kim does — but according to her, she’s only just getting started.

The American topped women’s halfpipe qualification in Milano–Cortina with a commanding 90.25, looking composed, technical, and completely in control. But in true Kim fashion, she downplayed it immediately.

“That was a six out of 10,” she said afterwards. “We’re going for a 10 tomorrow.”

Chloe is chasing history, aiming to become the first woman to claim three consecutive Olympic halfpipe gold medals. And judging by qualifiers, she’s in position.

But the halfpipe finals will be far from a one-woman show. Japan comes in heavy once again, with Mitsuki Ono, Sena Tomita, Rise Kudo and Sara Shimizu all advancing. China’s Cai Xuetong and Wu Shaotong are adding technique and skill, while Korea’s Gaon Choi continues to prove she belongs at the very top.

The USA will also look to Maddie Mastro and Bea Kim to apply pressure, while Canada’s Elizabeth Hosking and Spain’s Queralt Castellet Ibáñez round out a stacked field.
