Get Ready for the Ursus Rookie Fest 2026 in Madonna di Campiglio! We’re excited to officially announce the Ursus Rookie Fest, the first World Rookie Tour’s snowboard event scheduled in Madonna di Campiglio in January 25–29, 2026: one of the most iconic winter destinations in the Alps with one of the best European snowpark.

The event is already listed on the official FIS calendar, confirming its status as a recognized and sanctioned FIS Junior slopestyle competition.

Ursus Snowpark stands among the very best freestyle parks in the entire Alps, trusted for its quality, creativity and safety by snowboard athletes at the highest youth level.
The park is internationally recognized for its high-quality shaping and safe design: it’s the venue where the World Rookie Freeski Finals have taken place for the past four consecutive years, and 2026 will mark the fifth edition.

With the Pro Line opening in mid-January and two consecutive international snowboard events scheduled this season, Madonna di Campiglio becomes one of the most attractive freestyle hubs of winter 2026.

This edition of the Ursus Rookie Fest is a snowboard-only FIS Junior slopestyle contest, held exclusively on the legendary L Line of Ursus Snowpark. Riders will collect valuable FIS points and ride in one of the most scenic freestyle arenas in Europe, surrounded by the Brenta Dolomites.

As Snowpark Manager, co-founder of the World Rookie Tour, and Race Director for several of its main stops, I hope that riders, teams and coaches will enjoy a great experience here in Madonna di Campiglio. 

For the event the L line will be shaped, with one of the most progressive kickers’ lines, to give athletes the chance to compete with safe features and improve their skills. 

Everything will be prepared with the same care and attention that has made Ursus Snowpark one of the most appreciated terrain parks in the Alps.

Huge qualification opportunities:• Winners of the Rookie and Grom male and female podiums will secure direct access to the World Rookie Snowboard Finals in Kaprun this March.
• The Best Girl and Best Boy of the entire event will receive a full all-inclusive ticket, covering contest registration, lift pass, and accommodation.
