The Uninvited 2026 Recap

The 2026 Uninvited Invitational Raises the Bar Once Again.

Woodward Park City, Utah (April 13, 2026) – 🎥 Watch the full replay of The 2026 Uninvited Invitational Finals on The Uninvited Global YouTube channel: [LIVE STREAM REPLAY]

The Uninvited Invitational returned to Woodward Park City over the weekend, bringing together 70 riders from 17 countries for a week that continues to push the progression of streetstyle snowboarding forward. With a $60,000 prize purse on the line, the event has quickly become one of the most important stops for this next generation, something closer to a global benchmark than a traditional contest.

The 2026 Uninvited Invitational brought together a global mix of established riders and rising talent from four continents, continuing to reflect the depth and direction of streetstyle snowboarding. Riders like Savannah Shinske, recently recognized with Rider of the Year and Video Part of the Year honors, were joined by a rising wave including Himari Takamori, Jess Perlmutter, and Livia Tannò, creating a field that felt competitive and locked in. It’s no longer a proving ground, it’s where riders show up ready.

A major part of that comes down to the environment. Working closely with Woodward Park City, the course was built and maintained to prioritize flow, creativity, and progression. Dedicated sled towing kept riders moving, creating a pace that felt more like a session than a contest. Tricks were worked, adjusted, and pushed in real time, and the energy followed. It gave riders the time and space to figure things out, and just as importantly, the confidence to go back and do it again.

Judging followed that same approach, centered on control, style, trick selection, difficulty, and overall “wow” factor. It wasn’t just about what was landed, but how it was done and how it carried through the course. Standout Awards presented by YETI were given out to six riders across both qualifier days, recognizing those who set the tone during those sessions and helped shape the energy heading into finals.

Finals took place on Saturday, April 11, where the level of riding pushed even further. In front of a packed crowd and global livestream audience, riders leaned into the moment, delivering smooth style and technical riding that held up under pressure.

Beyond the podium, select awards recognized standout moments across the event, reinforcing what The Uninvited continues to represent: not just results, but the way riders show up, use the stage, and move the culture forward.

Interview with 2026 Winner, Himari Takamori

How does it feel to have won 1st place and Best Trick?
For the past few years, winning The Uninvited has been one of my biggest goals, so getting 1st place this time feels like a dream come true. Winning Best Trick on top of that made it even more special, and I was really happy about that.

What was the best part of the competition? What was the most challenging part?
The best part was being inspired by everyone’s riding and pushing myself to try tricks that I normally would not go for because of fear. The most challenging part was managing my nerves and staying mentally in control, because The Uninvited is the event I look forward to most all year, so it means a lot to me.

What did this event mean to you, being part of this group of riders?
All of the girls were riding so hard and landing incredible tricks, and that really pushed me to step up. I got so much inspiration from being part of this group, and it became a really meaningful experience that gave me even more motivation for the future.
