The next generation of snowboard champions is ready to drop in at Kitzsteinhorn Zell am See-Kaprun.
The World Rookie Snowboard Finals 2026 are just around the corner and the countdown is officially on.
From March 21st to 28th, the legendary Kitzsteinhorn – Zell am See-Kaprun, Austria, will host the most important youth snowboard event of the season, gathering the best under-18 riders from across the globe.
After a winter of qualifiers held across Europe, Asia and North America, only the most talented rookies have secured their place in the Finals. For one week, the glacier of Kitzsteinhorn Zell am See-Kaprun will become the ultimate stage where the next stars of international snowboarding will compete for the 2026 World Rookie Champion titles.
The event will feature Slopestyle, Big Air and Rail contests, giving riders multiple opportunities to showcase creativity, style and technical progression on one of the most iconic freestyle venues in the Alps.
Big prizes for the next generation
Among the prizes up for grabs are invitations to Rock A Rail, Absolute Park Spring Battle, World Rookie Camp training weeks, surf experiences in Santander, and several other awards offered by partners including Nitro, TSG, Blue Tomato, Red Bull and Collective [of] Moving People.
Over the years, these opportunities have helped many young riders launch their professional careers, confirming the World Rookie Tour as one of the most important pathways toward elite snowboarding.

For those who can’t make it to the glacier, the World Rookie Snowboard Finals 2026 will also be available through an official live streaming broadcast on the World Rookie Tour’s official channel.
The live production will be delivered by M&M, bringing the most decisive moments of the competition directly to the global snowboard community.
Viewers will be able to watch the Slopestyle, Big Air and Rail Finals, as the next World Rookie Champions are crowned at Kitzsteinhorn Zell am See-Kaprun.
From technical rail tricks to massive Big Air jumps, fans around the world will be able to experience the action in real time.
