Founded in Sun Valley, Idaho in Winter 1965 with the invention of the first thermal sealed double
lens snow goggle that minimized fogging, SMITH kicked off the company and revolutionized
snow sports endeavors that continue today.

Born in the mountains and built in the lab, SMITH has released numerous first-of-its kind
innovations over the past six decades; including Turbo Fan technology, a patented Roll-Off
lens performance system, pioneering the first interchangeable lenses in sunglasses and snow
