Shoot Your Shot: The Uninvited Wildcard Returns for 2025

The Uninvited is announcing the return of “The Uninvited Wildcard”, a digital qualifying event where girls, women, and non-binary riders can showcase their street and park skills for a chance to compete in The 2025 Uninvited Invitational at  Woodward Park City, Utah, (April 10-13, 2025). Selected riders will receive a coveted invitation alongside 70 of the world’s best street-orientated riders, to battle it out for a $60k prize purse and global recognition.

How to Participate

Participants are invited to submit a 30–60 second video reel via Instagram, highlighting their best tricks and riding style, whether from street or park sessions. A panel of judges, including professional snowboard athletes and industry professionals, will evaluate submissions and select the winners.

Submission Window: February 17, 2025, at 9:00 AM PST – March 7, 2025, at 11:00 PM PST.

Why Participate?

Last year’s Wildcard Program saw over 50 entries, with seven riders earning a spot at The 2024 Uninvited Invitational. Among them was 14-year-old Jess Perlmutter, who amazed everyone with her talent and walked away with multiple awards and cash prizes.

This year, The Uninvited aims to discover even more breakthrough talent and continue its mission of spotlighting the highest level of progression and talent in this category.

About The Uninvited

The Uninvited was spearheaded in 2017 by Jess Kimura, one of the most influential snowboarders of the past decade. After recognizing an abundance of talent without a proper platform to showcase it on, she self-produced an award-winning film trilogy that challenged the gender disparity in the action sports industry. The Uninvited series launched multiple careers for girls, women, and non-binary riders who needed a place to shine. 

Harnessing the same energy and intentions that fueled those films, we have channeled them into a competition series where these riders aren’t just a subcategory; they are the main event. By providing the platform and tools needed for them to thrive, our goal is to empower these athletes to rise above expectations and rewrite the narrative for generations to come.
