More than 50 snowboard brands, gear testing, coaching sessions, film screenings and community events are heading to Hochfügen, Austria, from 4–6 December 2026.
A new snowboard event is coming to Austria this winter. RideON Shredfest will make its debut in Hochfügen from 4–6 December 2026, bringing together snowboarders, brands and the wider community for three days of riding, gear testing and events on and off the mountain.
More than 50 brands will be on site with their latest equipment available to test, alongside a programme of coaching sessions, group rides and park events.
Three days of riding and gear testing
The programme includes introductory snowboard lessons, Kids Ride Outs with Shred Kids and a Community Ride with Elooa.
Open Faces will host freeride coaching sessions, while Pieps and Risk’n’Fun will offer sessions focused on avalanche awareness and travelling safely in alpine terrain.
The SP Boombox Sessions will bring riders together in the park, and Reichmann will provide free waxing and edge tuning throughout the event.
Snowboard films, history and community
Beyond the riding, RideON Shredfest will host a 50 Years of Burton Snowboards exhibition celebrating five decades of snowboard history.
Friday’s programme includes a screening of MILK, the new snowboard film by Julian Pintarelli and Werni Stock, with several of the film’s riders in attendance.
Two-time Olympic champion Anna Gasser will also join a panel discussion hosted by Alba Pardo on Friday afternoon.
