Pat Fava wins the first-ever Red Bull Heavy Metal outside of North America.
HELSINKI (March 9, 2026) – Last weekend, Pat Fava made history by winning the first-ever Red Bull Heavy Metal outside of North America! The final Red Bull Heavy Metal of 2026 went down at Senaatintori, Helsinki, and Pat Fava was on his game! Congrats, Pat!
Toni Kerkelä, pro snowboarder hailing from Helsinki, said, “Pat was killing it from the very beginning of the contest. In Zone 1, he started with his signature backside 720 tail grab and then continued putting down solid lines on the pole jam gap, over the sauna and on the electric boxes.”

Tony went on to say, “the rail jam was his backyard! Pat unleashed a fury of tricks in this zone, including a hardway frontside 2 on the ledge and ended the show with a cab 450.”
Pat Fava said, “It was already a win for me to receive a message from the legend himself, Eero Ettala, inviting me to Helsinki to compete. That was surreal to me and I’m super grateful!
The setup was insanely fun, and I was able to ride with my brother Joey and a bunch of homies. Vibes were epic!”
