A brand-new snowboarding event hits Germany, 28 February – 1 March 2026.
Inspired by game of S.K.A.T.E., Rail Royale is flipping the script on snowboard comps with a two-day, head-to-head tournament, and bringing the streets straight to the mountains by blending creativity, steel, and the right amount of chaos.
The Setup
Classic thin street rails, stair features, zero safety nets. And because we like to turn things up a notch, the mastermind behind DIYX’s most unorthodox rail creations, Jacco Bos, will be adding a few surprises to keep everyone on their toes.
Competition Format
16 men and 16 women go into a grueling battle for the crown and a €5,000 cash prize.
However, that’s not all: every round win will earn riders some extra cash. That means at least 50% of the field will walk away with money in their pocket. First place takes home €1,500, the crown, and the crown jewels.
In true medieval fashion, the winner will have to fight for their crown. The 2026 winners must return in 2027 to defend their title. Lose the battle, lose the crown – but the glory will never perish, as every winner’s name will be engraved into the crown for eternity.
Fantasy Battle
Even the most resilient knights need a breather, which is where the fantasy battles come in: unique match-ups with unique rules, all designed to keep the crowd hyped. Bottom line? Expect the unexpected.
