New world record halfpipe air

Valentino Guseli setting the standard…

On March 31st 2021, Valentino Guseli landed the highest halfpipe air ever officially measured in snowboarding history. With 7.3m (24ft) he put up a new world record.

Before him the world record was held by Shaun White with 7m (23ft).

Valentino is a 15 year old snowoarder from Australia and is spending most of his season here in LAAX. His amplitude in the pipe is almost unseen in snowboarding.
