Natural Selection Snow Reveals 2026 Super Sessions Riders and Venue Details

Paul and Rukajärvi among the 12 riders getting ready to drop into some of Mother Nature’s finest zones in Utah, Japan, and BC, as Super Sessions open the road to Revelstoke.

Rider names and venue details are dropping for Natural Selection Super Sessions, the opening stage of the 2026 Natural Selection Snow season. Super Sessions introduces a session-based competition format focused on natural terrain, creativity, and progression. Riders who come out on top will earn their ticket to the YETI Natural Selection Snow finals in Revelstoke, March 10-15. Watch the full competitions and find out who moves on starting February 24 exclusively on Red Bull TV.

Evolving from DUELS, Super Sessions moves away from head-to-head matchups in favor of a collaborative session format that prioritizes line choice and individual expression while still serving as a qualifier for Revelstoke. Events will take place at Powder Mountain in Utah, Myōkō in Japan, and evo’s Journeyman Lodge at the Callaghan in British Columbia.

POWDER MOUNTAIN
Bringing the Super Sessions to the continental U.S. will be Powder Mountain, Utah. Held in a zone known locally as “Don’t Mention It” or DMI. The 1,000-plus-acre zone lies beneath James Peak, Powder Mountain’s highest point and features cliff bands, spines, tech-y chutes and more natural terrain for riders to work with. The resort has plans to add lift access to DMI, but ahead of the lift’s opening, NST athletes will ride the terrain as it exists today: unserved, expansive, and defined by its natural terrain.

Competing in Utah will be Blake Paul, a perennial NST smooth operator is ready to earn his return ticket to Revy; Brin Alexander, a BC crowd favorite, who made an electric NST debut in 2025 dropping first in day one; and Garrett Warnick, an NST rookie and underground backcountry slayer leaving a big mark. One or two more surprise men’s rider names will drop for Powder Mountain in the coming weeks…stay tuned.

EVO’S JOURNEYMAN LODGE AT THE CALLAGHAN, BC
The women will compete in a Super Session at evo’s Journeyman Lodge at the Callaghan near Whistler, British Columbia. The Callaghan is known for its deep Coast Range snowpack, pillow lines, natural gaps, and rolling alpine-to-tree terrain. The event will be entirely human powered, requiring riders to tour for all access and emphasizing backcountry decision-making alongside freestyle meets freeriding performance.

The women’s roster includes Enni Rukajärvi, Katie Kennedy, Stefi Luxton, and Marissa Krawczak, with the potential of an additional mystery rider in the coming weeks. Rukajärvi returns to Natural Selection after competing in DUELS with Elena Hight two years ago. Kennedy makes her Natural Selection debut bringing her multifaceted skills to the backcountry.  Luxton, who also competed in Jackson in 2022 and in a 2025 DUEL with Madison Blackley is back to complete some unfinished business. Krawczak, makes her second NST season following a DUEL with Zoi Sadowski-Synnott in 2023. One rider from the Callaghan will qualify for the 2026 YETI Natural Selection Snow in Revelstoke. The second place women’s finisher at this Super Session will be the first alternate at Revy.

MYOKO, JAPAN
The crew returns to Myōkō, Japan, a region known for some of the deepest snowfall in the world for a Super Session stacked with fresh NST blood. The venue for last year’s epic DUEL between Aya Sato and Šárka Pančochová, Myōkō’s terrain features rolling volcanic contours, natural transitions, and evenly spaced trees that create a fast, technical riding environment well suited to super deep snow.

Competing in Myōkō are a crew of exciting rookie NST riders looking to shake things up including Mateo Massitti, Mason Lemery, Miles Fallon, and Takeru Otsuka, representing for Japan on home snow. Two riders from the Myōkō session will advance to Revelstoke.

Super Sessions represent the first step toward crowning the 2026 Natural Selection Snow champions. Four men will advance from Super Sessions to join the eight pre-qualified riders from 2025, additional wildcards, and past NST Tour winners. On the women’s side joining the first four pre-qualified riders from 2025 will be the winner of RND, Robin Van Gyn’s all-women’s event at Whitewater Resort, the top women’s finisher from Super Sessions, and wildcards. Final fields will be locked in late February following the NST Super Sessions premiere and ahead of the Revelstoke window opening March 10.

NST Snowboarding Super Sessions will premiere February 24, 2026 on Red Bull TV, with qualifying riders revealed within each episode. YETI Natural Selection Revelstoke broadcasts live on Red Bull TV for two days within the March 10-15 competition window.

YETI returns as the Title Partner for Revelstoke. Arc’teryx is returning as the Official Outerwear Partner for both snowboarding and skiing. evo has become the Official Retail Partner of NST. Dakine, Ski-Doo, BOA, Turtlebox, Rocky Mountain Watches, Oakley, Mons Royale, Vibram, and A New Earth Project join the mix as Official Suppliers, with additional collaborations to be announced throughout the season.

The Industry Alliance Program continues in 2026, offering brands and teams access to athlete content, media integration, and deeper alignment with the future of freeride competition. For partnership opportunities, please contact conor@naturalselectiontour.com.
