The 12th LAAX OPEN returns to Switzerland from 13–16 January 2027, with FIS Snowboard World Cup slopestyle and halfpipe, side events and concerts at the rocksresort.
The LAAX OPEN presented by Zalando is back for its 12th edition from 13–16 January 2027. The FIS Snowboard & Freeski World Cup sits at the centre of the week, with the usual run of side events and live music down in the valley at the rocksresort.
Freestyle has been part of LAAX for 40 years and the resort has hosted events for more than 30 of them. The OPEN itself has run every year since 2005, and the list of past winners reads like a who’s who of snowboarding. The 2026 snowboard titles went to Scotty James (AUS), Choi Gaon (KOR), Romain Allemand (FRA) and Kokomo Murase (JPN).
