Fridge joins the Northwave Boots Teams

Northwave is pleased to announce that Fridtjof “Fridge” Tischendorf has joined the brand’s global snowboard team.

From this season onward, the Norwegian rider will be riding in Northwave boots, marking the beginning of a new collaboration that further strengthens the brand’s presence within the international freestyle and film scene.

Fridge is widely recognised for his distinctive and creative approach to snowboarding — a mix of unpredictability, resilience and personality that has shaped his career across both contests and film projects. In recent seasons he has transitioned toward full-time filming, building a strong presence through progressive street riding and video parts that highlight not only technical ability but also character and individuality. His mindset, rooted in persistence and experimentation, reflects a modern vision of snowboarding where expression and performance coexist.

This new addition follows the recent signing of Austin Smith and continues to reinforce Northwave’s commitment to developing a strong and diverse international team. Fridge joins a global roster that includes Lolo Derminio, Ethan Morgan, Kohei Kudo and Ian Matteoli, contributing his unique perspective to a lineup that represents multiple generations and approaches within contemporary snowboarding.

Fridge will be riding and testing Northwave’s latest boot developments across upcoming film projects, team initiatives and brand campaigns, playing an active role in supporting the brand’s product evolution while bringing his own creative vision into future content and collaborations.
