FIS has confirmed the first names for the AIRDRENALINE Big Air World Cup at Innsbruck’s Bergisel on 28 November 2026, including one of Anna Gasser’s final competitive appearances.
AIRDRENALINE opens the 2026/27 FIS Park & Pipe World Cup season at the Bergisel from 26–28 November, the first time the venue has hosted a FIS Snowboard Big Air World Cup. Saturday 28 November is snowboard day, with the women’s and men’s finals under the lights.
The international field already includes Su Yiming (CHN), Kira Kimura (JPN), Eli Bouchard (CAN), Valentino Guseli (AUS), Hiroto Ogiwara (JPN) and Romain Allemand (FRA) in the men’s competition, and Kokomo Murase (JPN), Mari Fukada (JPN), Lily Dhawornvej (USA) and Meila Stalker (AUS) in the women’s. Final start lists will be confirmed during competition week.
For Anna Gasser, AIRDRENALINE will be one of the last stops of her career. The two-time Olympic gold medallist is entering her final season, focusing on selected events in Austria, and the Bergisel is one of them. She leads a home squad that also includes Clemens Millauer, Eric Dovjak and Hanna Karrer.
The season ahead takes in four Big Air, six Halfpipe and four Slopestyle World Cups for snowboarders, plus the Montafon 2027 FIS Snowboard, Freestyle and Freeski World Championships in March.
“The Bergisel has been synonymous with top-level sports and passionate fans for decades. Having the FIS Freeski and Snowboard World Cup take place here together with AIRDRENALINE is extremely exciting—not only for us at FIS Park & Pipe, but also for Freeski and Snowboard fans worldwide, as the next generation of riders gets the opportunity to show their best at one of the most iconic venues in snow-sports history,” said Roby Moresi, FIS Snowboard Park & Pipe Contest Director.
