After the Games, the stage is set:Absolut Park Spring Battle & FIS Snowboard World Cup Flachau

The Olympic spotlight may be fading, but the momentum continues. From 15–21 March 2026, the global snowboard elite heads straight from the Olympic stage in Italy to Austria’s Absolut Park at Shuttleberg for one of the most anticipated back-to-back events of the season: the Absolut Park Spring Battle AND the FIS Snowboard World Cup Flachau. Olympic medalists and the world’s top riders have already confirmed their participation, promising a week of world-class progression and high-stakes competition.

A Legacy Event Driving Snowboard Progression

Since its inception in 2002, the Spring Battle has become one of the most influential independent snowboard contests worldwide and a cornerstone of the World Snowboard Federation calendar. Its pioneering Follow-Cam Jam Session format redefines competitive snowboarding: riders have four days to film their ultimate slopestyle run, accompanied by dedicated filmers and high-speed drones. The result is a unique fusion of elite competition and creative expression.

From 15–18 March, 120 riders—80 men and 40 women—will push their limits to capture the perfect run. With extended filming time, the focus shifts from single-run pressure to innovation, style, and progression—delivering some of the most cutting-edge snowboarding of the year.

One course, two major events, double the opportunity

For Spring Battle, the Absolut Park Pro Line will be rebuilt and enhanced with new features designed to unlock creativity and enable next-level tricks. Immediately following Spring Battle, the same world-class course will host the FIS Snowboard World Cup Flachau Finals on 21 March. At the penultimate Slopestyle World Cup of the season, the preliminary decisions on the road to the coveted crystal globes could already be made.

This unique format gives riders the rare opportunity to compete for both World Cup podiums and valuable points on the World Snowboard Points List—as well as double prize money—within a single week.

Rail Jam Spectacle in Front of the Chill House

Adding to the action, the Spring Battle Rail Jam will take center stage directly in front of the iconic Chill House. Featuring a technical, never-before-seen rail setup revealed just before the event, the Rail Jam will challenge riders with creative and demanding combinations. Finals and event highlights will be streamed live on YouTube, bringing the energy of Absolut Park to a global audience.
