Burton Launches Zeb’s Closet, Zeb Powell’s New Outerwear and Apparel Collection

Burton has teamed up with Zeb Powell for Zeb’s Closet, a new outerwear and apparel collection inspired by Zeb’s unmistakable style both on and off the mountain.

Launched globally on September 24, the collection takes its cues from Zeb’s unmistakable personal style and the influences that shape his world both on and off the mountain. Rather than designing purely around performance, Burton and Zeb started with one pretty straightforward question: What would Zeb actually wear?

Guided by Zeb’s own vision, each piece in the collection provides unrestricted movement and flow, pairing waterproof outerwear, utility-driven details and premium construction with the oversized, baggy silhouettes that have become synonymous with Zeb’s style. Highlights include heavyweight hoodies, jerseys, rugby shirts, tees, shorts, pants, reversible bucket hats and technical outerwear built for every session — each piece designed to be layered, lived in and worn far beyond the lift line. And because it wouldn’t be Zeb’s Closet without one, the collection also features a reversible insulated vest that’s equal parts technical function and unmistakable vibe.

For Burton, the collection reflects a new generation of snowboarding – one driven by creativity, self-expression and the communities redefining what the sport looks like today.

“It’s called Zeb’s Closet because it’s actually what I would wear – on the mountain and off the mountain,” says Powell. “I’ve always looked at snowboarding as a form of self-expression, and I wanted this collection to have that same energy for all the riders out there – to rock with, mix it up, and make it their own.”

The collection is available beginning September 24th on Burton.com, in Burton retail stores, and at select specialty retailers worldwide.  While the September release marks the collection’s global debut, Burton and Zeb will continue expanding the story with additional releases throughout the season. Zeb’s Mobile Closet

To celebrate the launch, Burton is bringing this collection to life beyond retail through Zeb’s Mobile Closet, a custom-built traveling installation inspired by Zeb’s personal closet.

Debuting in New York City during launch week before continuing to key snowboarding destinations around the world, the Mobile Closet serves as a community gathering place where riders can experience the collection, meet Zeb and connect through local events, ride days, and park sessions. More than a display, the Mobile Closet evolves throughout the season, appearing everywhere from flagship retail events to on-hill activations, and in some locations even becoming part of the terrain itself. Between October 1–3, the Mobile Closet will team up with Blue Tomato for stops in Munich, Hintertux and Vienna, where riders will be able to check out the collection, meet Zeb and get involved in snowboarding and skate sessions.
