From playful freestyle boots to stiff, precision-focused all-mountain options, we take a closer look at some of the best snowboard boots for the 2026/27 season.
Your boots are arguably the most important part of your snowboard setup. You can have the best board and bindings in the world, but if your boots don’t fit properly, none of it really matters.
For 2026/27, we’re seeing plenty of innovation in boot technology, from increasingly sophisticated BOA® systems and improved heel hold to new liner constructions and designs built specifically for speed-entry bindings. But while the technology keeps evolving, finding the right boot still comes down to a few fundamentals: fit, flex, comfort and the kind of riding you do.
Whether you’re after something softer for park laps and a more playful feel, or a stiffer boot that offers maximum response when charging across the mountain, there’s no shortage of options.
We’ve rounded up some of our favourite snowboard boots for the 2026/27 season, covering everything from freestyle-friendly all-rounders to high-performance models designed for more demanding terrain.
