After seven years of rider development, the FASE™ Fast Entry System combines the comfort and locked-in feeling of two-strap bindings with an ultra-fast strap-in process. The bindings are built with three key features: the AutoBack, which closes automatically around the boot, the Locked-In Toe Straps, built to stay in the desired position, and the rider-proven FastStrap, for smooth one-handed strapping in.

HUB – The Hub is purpose-built to unite our FASE™ Fast Entry System with the forged aluminum AsymWrap chassis. Molded from performance-injected nylon, it delivers dependable impact absorption, cuts down on chatter, and creates a smooth pivot point for seamless highback rotation.

FASE Fast Entry System – NEW! All of the benefits of a traditional two-strap binding, mixed with a modern easy and intuitive system that allows you to strap in with one hand and adjust your binding on the fly.

Power Steering – Bataleon bindings are based on our Hybrid Chassis. We blend an Aluminum frame with a composite base to create the most dynamically flexing binding possible, putting you in complete control. 

3D Flex – The smallest possible binding footprint, with the least amount of hard plastic touching the board, allows your snowboard to ride the way it was engineered. Bataleon bindings allow the snowboard to perform all its dynamic characteristics without restriction or distortion. Ride your board, not your binding!

Never Miss a Day – We never want you to miss a day of riding. If you ride hard, there’s always a chance something could wear out or break. But don’t worry – we’ve got you covered. Bindings with the “Never Miss a Day” feature come with a backup parts kit, including extra ladders, screws, and washers, so you can keep riding while sorting out replacements.

AutoBack – The key to the FASE Fast Entry system, Bataleon’s AutoBack offers hands-free entry, automatically closing when the boot enters and opening when it’s time to unstrap. It also folds flat for skating, chairlifts, and storage.

Adjustable Padding – Choose from three different FootPad positions for a perfect fit with the sole of your boot.

Adjustable Forward lean – Fast, tool-free adjustment via the cam lever on the rear of the highback. Dial up the lean for a more aggressive heelside response or use less lean for a mellower feel.

Cradle AnkleStrap – The description is in the name…Designed to Cradle any boot on the market, this lightweight, longer-than-normal ankle strap stays connected for fast, one-handed strapping, while the classic ratchet lets you fine-tune AnkleStrap tension.

Lock-In Toestrap – Locked in position and secure. Designed to work seamlessly with the Cradles the toe of any boot, providing power transfer in a secure package. 

Bulletproof Buckles – Heavy-duty ratchets for fast, secure closure and long-term durability.

Lock-in Slapratchet – Easy adjustability and single-ratchet closure locks you in safely and securely. 

Adjustable Base Size – The heel cup can be adjusted to help you center your boot perfectly in the binding and on your board.

2° Canted Footpad – Canted footbeds help by bringing your knees together, putting your body in the natural riding position.

EVA Sub-Base Pad – EVA beneath the base helps to reduce vibration underfoot, providing a smoother and more “quiet” feel while snowboarding.

How Does It Work ?

Is It Easy To Get In?

With the AutoBack and FastStrap fully open, a wide opening ensures effortless entry regardless of boot brand and style.

How Do I Get In?

“Open” – Wide open entry. Easy to get your boot into the binding. 

Insider Trading: Kick the AutoBack forward to fold it flat for skating, chairlift rides, and storage.

1 – Insert your boot into the binding and engage the toe strap. The AutoBack will automatically close around your boot while the Locked-In Toe Strap remains in desired position.

2 – Buckle down the FastStrap ankle strap.  Only one hand is required to strap in, because the ankle strap is already engaged.

3 – You’re in and secure. Time to snowboard!

How Do I Get Out?

1 – You’re in and secure…because you were snowboarding. 

2 – Unbuckle the FastStrap ankle strap like a traditional two-strap binding. A quick reminder, the FastStrap catches to stay secure for easy re-entry, so you don’t need to keep opening the strap.

3 – Slightly bend your knee, lift your heel, and exit the binding. The AutoBack will automatically open for an easy exit.
