PULSE: MARIA HIDALGO’S CONNECTION WITH SNOWBOARDING
The Barcelona rider unveils her debut project as a member of Blue Banana’s Adrenaline Crew. Filmed and edited by Héctor Cash in LAAX, the video invites new generations to explore and live passionately.
“It starts with a Pulse, a feeling like no other. It’s not just competition for me, it’s something more”. These words from Maria Hidalgo open the video PULSE. This first project from the Barcelona snowboarder with Blue Banana is a call to all those who feel that the true meaning of adventure lies beyond competition, in the act of trying again and again, of falling, getting up, and pushing forward.
This has always been Maria Hidalgo’s philosophy. A member of Blue Banana’s Adrenaline Crew, Meri is a prominent figure in European snowboarding and the leading Spanish rider in the Slopestyle and Big Air disciplines. Her journey has been marked by her adventurous spirit, unwavering determination, and ability to overcome all obstacles life has thrown her way, including several serious knee injuries from which she has always recovered.
In PULSE, filmed and edited by filmmaker Héctor Cash in the breathtaking LAAX resort (Switzerland), Maria once again proves she has a lot left to give and invites us to connect with that inner energy that drives us to explore, take risks, and live with intensity. Through her words and plenty of action, she reaffirms her mission to inspire young people to break their own limits, discover the world, and answer nature’s call. PULSE not only marks the beginning of a new season for Maria Hidalgo but also inspired Blue Banana to name their signature winter garment after her heartbeat: the new PULSE jacket.
