Korua Yearning For Turning Vol. XII: Down Under

// films

Korua is back with another jaw-dropping Yearning for Turning edit, this time from Down Under.

This marks Korua’s first installment filmed south of the equator, capturing a few weeks spent exploring Australia’s snow and surf culture. In true Korua fashion, the plan was loose but intentional, traveling by van, chasing conditions, and letting the journey tell the story! The film follows Nicholas Wolken and local rider Liam Glass as they connect with Australia’s board-riding scene, drawing inspiration from the shared design philosophies of snowboards and surfboards. From carving in Thredbo to shaping bays near Sydney, Down Under celebrates the crossover between snow and surf design, and the creative communities that bridge them.
