Dive deep into japow in Nidecker’s new edit: HOKKAIDO

Japan’s northern island has long been a pilgrimage spot for riders searching for bottomless turns, dreamlike terrain, and that unmistakable feeling of floating through nature’s finest design. HOKKAIDO taps into exactly that: a short film that blends raw backcountry power with quiet, cinematic beauty.

Featuring Taylor Gold, Mela Stalker, Cooper Branham, and Sebby K., the crew set out with one goal: chase the freedom found in deep snow and clean lines, and document the subtle magic that happens when rider and landscape move as one.

Directed by Sam McMahon, HOKKAIDO serves as both a celebration of the terrain we all dream about as well as a reminder of why snowboarding keeps pulling us back to places that feel almost unreal.
