I’m not sure what kind of power juice Halldór Helgason has been drinking lately, but it’s clearly awakened something in this Icelandic style-house. From MVP at DIYX to a podium at X Games Aspen, locking in a new sponsorship with Bataleon — not to mention earning his own pro model — Halldór is back, delivering stylish tricks, impeccable snowboarding, and the kind of pure joy that’s impossible to fake.
A few weeks back, we had another taste of this as Halldór and Coach Thunder headed to X Games 2026 with one goal in mind: to secure a bronze medal and complete Halldór’s set from the Games. The game plan? Pure luck.
But with Halldór being Halldór, luck wasn’t needed. Instead, they walked away with yet another silver added to the collection.
Hoping this would be their final appearance at the Games, they may now have to return in 2027 if they want to complete the trio and finally add bronze to the pile.
