Hintertux Park Opening

At the center of it all is Betterpark Hintertux, one of Europe’s most important early-season parks. Jumps, rails and creative transfers offer the perfect setup for pro riders, rookies and everyone in between.

The program delivers everything a true season opener needs: Werni Stock returns with the “Transfer Games”, while the youngest riders collect their first memories of the new season during the “Kids Shred” with Gigi Rüf. At the open Rock A Rail qualification, snowboarders and freeskiers go for a spot in the big finals at the valley station, where the Rock A Rail Tour 2026 officially enters its hot phase for the autumn season.

On top of that, visitors can look forward to on-snow tests featuring the latest products from leading brands, the traditional movie night and long nights at the Hohenhaus Tenne – exactly the mix of snowboarding, friendships and shared memories that has made the Hintertux Park Opening so special for the past 22 years.
